Overview

The goal of the Cancer Prevention and Control Program of the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center is to conduct innovative research in the prevention of cancer and the control of cancer-related symptoms and cancer treatment side effects.

The Cancer Prevention and Control Program focuses on three areas of research:

• Tobacco dependence
• Chemoprevention
• Symptom control and side effects
