SPINAL CORD INJURY

The primary goal of comprehensive research in spinal cord dysfunction is to develop state-of-the-art care in the rehabilitation management throughout the lifetime for those who have suffered either a traumatic or nontraumatic spinal cord injury. The rehabilitation goal is to maximize functional abilities and health by enhancing recovery, developing and utilizing assistive technology, and preventing secondary complications in the acute and aging population.
