Postdoctoral Position - Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics

A Postdoctoral Research Fellow is sought by the Mayo Pharmacogenomics Research laboratory. This laboratory is associated with the Mayo-NIH Pharmacogenomics Research Network (PGRN), a nationwide network of research centers devoted to pharmacogenetic and pharmacogenomic research. Studies conducted include the use of high throughput resequencing of genes that might influence drug response, functional genomics, in depth mechanistic studies of the functional effects of DNA sequence variation and translational studies of the implications of variant polymorphisms and haplotypes for individual differences in drug response. Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with significant past laboratory research experience and with an emphasis on the techniques of molecular genomics and/or functional genomics.
