SummaryMy collaborative research is motivated by my clinical collaborators here at Mayo Clinic, with an emphasis on understanding disease mechanisms and/or markers of disease in colon and ovarian cancer and immunological response to vaccination. Most of this work utilizes high dimensional expression data of various types. As a result, my primary statistical research interests are in the area of high-dimensional data analysis. Areas of active research include normalization methods and experimental design for global proteomic data, analyses integrating multiple data types (e.g., mRNA expression and methylation, etc.), and analysis methods for expression data produced by the NextGen sequencing platform.
